About Me
Tori Lambert is a Digital Media artist at Maine College of Art. Originally hailing from a small town named Claremont, New Hampshire, she now spends her time refining her artistic practice in Portland, Maine. Although having an extreme affection for video games and absorbing everything she can about their theory, design, and practice; her true passion lies within 2D animation and cinematic storytelling.
As an artist, she is especially interested in timing, musical and comedic, character concepts, and visual narrative; turning songs into animated metaphors and creating fantastical displays of color. After spending three years at MECA, she has spent a great deal of focus on fine tuning her knowledge of design principles such as composition, linework, and color theory. Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Toon Boom Harmony are programs where she spends most of her time.
Her current goal is to find an animation studio where she can share and collaborate with other animators in the industry; eventually releasing her fun and creative ideas into the world.
